Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the PayCercle website, dashboard, mobile clients, APIs, notifications, receipts, analytics, and support interactions. It covers information provided directly by users, information created through platform activity, and information generated as part of operating contribution groups.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, password credentials, timezone, and user preferences. We also collect group records, membership records, invite records, contribution schedules, payment logs, receipts, analytics outputs, billing history, browser or device identifiers, IP addresses, and support messages required to secure and operate the platform.

Some operational logs may be retained even after account deactivation where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons.

Security

PayCercle uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect account access, session integrity, billing events, and stored records. No internet service is completely risk free, so users remain responsible for using strong credentials, protecting their devices, and reporting suspected compromise promptly.

User rights and choices

Users may review account details, manage certain preferences, and request corrections through the product settings or support channels. Where applicable law grants additional rights such as access, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, PayCercle will review and respond in line with applicable legal requirements and the platform’s operational record-retention obligations.

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using PayCercle, you agree to these Terms of Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you have authority to create, administer, or participate in any group you manage through the service.

Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account details and safeguarding your login credentials. You may sign in with your email address or phone number where supported, but you remain responsible for all activity occurring under your account unless you notify PayCercle of unauthorized access.

Group administration responsibilities

Group admins are responsible for the groups they create, the members they invite, the billing interval chosen for each group, and the contribution records they enter. Admins must ensure that group setup details such as type, contribution structure, frequency, and start date are accurate before checkout because those details drive generated records and may be locked after creation.

Subscriptions and billing

Group billing is managed per group. Monthly and Yearly unlock the same paid benefits with different billing intervals. Free groups remain subject to lower limits and restricted features. Canceling a paid group subscription downgrades that group to Free and may reduce access to reminders, analytics, exports, and higher member limits.

Operational record integrity

Contribution records, receipts, billing logs, and related audit history are treated as operational records. Users may not manipulate, falsify, or attempt to bypass the supported recording and billing workflows. PayCercle may preserve historical entries even where later changes to membership or subscription status occur.

Product boundaries

Unless PayCercle expressly states otherwise in a live integrated payment flow, the platform primarily records, organizes, and reports contribution activity rather than holding customer funds as a deposit-taking institution. Users remain responsible for the actual handling, custody, and disbursement of group funds outside the product features expressly provided.

Acceptable use and restrictions

You may not use PayCercle for fraud, unlawful fundraising, sanctions evasion, money laundering, identity abuse, harassment, malicious automation, scraping beyond allowed access, or interference with the service. We may suspend or restrict access where user behavior creates legal, security, or operational risk.

Suspension, termination, and changes

PayCercle may suspend access, limit features, remove content, or terminate accounts or groups where required for security, compliance, fraud prevention, non-payment, or material breach of these Terms. We may also update the service, pricing, limits, or workflows over time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. While PayCercle aims to maintain accurate operational records and reliable access, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free performance. To the extent permitted by law, PayCercle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from misuse, unauthorized access, downtime, third-party failures, or decisions made by group admins or members.

Third-party technologies

PayCercle aims to reduce abuse of the platform for fraud, illicit fundraising, sanctions evasion, money laundering, identity misuse, and suspicious contribution activity. Risk monitoring and controls

We maintain operational controls intended to identify unusual contribution behavior, suspicious group creation patterns, duplicate or abusive account activity, excessive invite behavior, mismatched billing activity, unsupported attempts to manipulate records, and other patterns that may indicate fraud or illicit use.

Verification and restrictions

PayCercle may request additional information, delay administrative actions, restrict access, suspend groups, block billing changes, or disable accounts where activity creates sanctions, fraud, legal, or anti-money laundering concerns.

Record preservation

We may preserve contribution logs, group activity, receipts, billing events, device and IP logs, support records, and related audit information where reasonably necessary to investigate suspicious activity, protect users, or comply with legal or partner obligations.

Cooperation with authorities and partners

Where required by law, court order, regulatory obligation, or valid partner requirements, PayCercle may cooperate with investigations, provide relevant records, and report suspicious or unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities or service providers.

Product limitations and updates
